Would a combination of a slowing economy in Alberta and oil prices remaining low lead to more migration to B.C. and Vancouver? Very possibly. Vancouver already has about 25,000 people moving to the area on a yearly basis. Can our current supply of rental housing support such an influx of new residents in the lower mainland? Not likely at affordable prices for renters. Demand for rental properties should see a steady increase over the next few years. That is just one more reason to invest in rental properties and condos in the city of Vancouver. Read more about "fixing the rental mess" by clicking here.
Condo developers are still very eager to get your business. There are some great deals to be had so don't miss out on the current opportunities to buy low (both prices & interest rates)! Condos in the Vancouver area can very easily be rented out to cover all costs and have some cash flow for you at the end of the day.
