Townline, the developer of Thunderbird Creek in spectacular Squamish, British Columbia, has recently announced price reductions on 4 of their single family homes.  Prices have dropped by up to $100,000!  These should sell fast seeing as the beautiful community of Squamish is located just 45 minutes from Vancouver and only 30 minutes from Whistler.

Concord Pacific's latest downtown Vancouver condo development project will soon be available for investors to purchase.  The display suite preview reception takes place Thursday, June 25th. I think you will find that the prices are affordable for such a central location.

Vancouver - Easiest City to Live In

Vancouver was rated the world's easiest city to live in according to the Economist Intelligence Unit's livability poll.  (Click here for the press release and more details)  It evaluated 140 cities and assesed living conditons across 5 broad categories: stability; healthcare; culture and environment; education; and infrastructure.   Vancouver scored top points achieving a 98 out of 100%!

Increased Demand for Rental Housing?

Would a combination of a slowing economy in Alberta and oil prices remaining low lead to more migration to B.C. and Vancouver?  Very possibly.  Vancouver already has about 25,000 people moving to the area on a yearly basis.  Can our current supply of rental housing support such an influx of new residents in the lower mainland?  Not likely at affordable prices for renters.  Demand for rental ...
